Honda Grants Automotive Approval Of Tri-V 121 Chromate

Columbia Chemical Corp. gained automotive approval from Honda Motors for use of Columbia Chemical Tri-V 121, a high corrosion-resistant zinc passivate for automotive applications.

Columbia Chemical Corp. gained automotive approval from Honda Motors for use of Columbia Chemical Tri-V 121, a high corrosion-resistant zinc passivate for automotive applications. 

To be granted this approval, COLDIP TRI V 121 was subjected to rigorous testing at RS Technology Testing. Automotive Specialist Katie Reagan is responsible for coordinating the testing and approvals at Honda for Columbia Chemical (Automotive Approval).

Honda Motors is also using Columbia Chemical EXTREME 110 acid zinc plating process for zinc plating on various automotive and motorcycle parts.
