Description
Dyneema SB51 are woven and laminated sheets made from UHMWPE (Ultra High Molecular Weight Polyethylene)
Dyneema SB51 from DSM Dyneema was developed specifically to counter serious, emerging threats - including the 7.62 x 25mm Tokarev and Chinese pistol P54. When upgraded with inserts, vests with Dyneema SB51 can address heavier rifle ammunition as well.
Up to 20% more resistance compared to Dyneema SB21 from DSM Dyneema for certain bullets and test specifications.
Application
Used in vests and clothing to provide life-saving protection against handgun ammunition and knives.
